The quality of the audio is not always ideal, but this overview provides as complete a record of the entire show as I could assemble. For those who were there and maybe also for some who were not, this should be a fun souvenir of Lady Gaga performing on her first head-lining tour.

Lady Gaga @ Austin Airport...

May 7, 2009. The day after the Lady Gaga concert at the Austin Music Hall in Austin, Texas, I was strolling along in the airport, waiting for my plane to get back home. At some point I just happened to look up and right in front of me, about 5 or six feet away, was somebody I thought for a second looked very much like Lady Gaga. Just then I saw her body guard Sully, and knew that this in fact was none other than Lady Gaga!

I stepped up and said hi... Gaga and Sully recognized me as well, because the Austin concert was my fifth Lady Gaga concert and I had briefly met Gaga during a couple of meet & greets. Gaga said she recognized me as the guy on the front row. We chatted a bit about how I got to know her music and such. She also agreed to have me take a picture.

Sully then said that Gaga had to do a radio interview and still needed to arrange some stuff, and they went to check some things at security. Also with Gaga were her tour manager and her assistant.

It was funny to see how they went about their business without people noticing Gaga all too much. Some folks kinda looked at her for a second, maybe because of her appaerance (white vest, short black pants, high heels, and very white short blond hair). But nobody stepped up to her or bothered her at all. Not too many Gaga fans at the airport...

I also shot a short video of Gaga on the phone doing the radio interview.
